Should i keep my hair longer or shorter?

Just wondering if i look better with longer hair or shorter hair. I feel like if it gets too long it gets too messy and it just looks unkept and too hard to style as my hair is pretty thick. But i look more unique with longer hair imo, downside is that it hides my facial features a bit.
not the best pics, very aspie, but just so u can compare, what do you think? should i rock longer or a bit shorter hair? What hairstyle should i go for? Thanks
