Should I lie to land a mandatory internship?

I am doing Computer Science and I'm looking for a mandatory internship. The issue is they want experience, so should I just lie and say I worked with random companies on my CV?

P.S: I know this degree is almost worthless, but what can I do

any competent company will do a background check and use third parties to confirm experience
