I'm stuck on a decision and wanted to know y'alls opinion
Right now I live in a conservative city that's kinda bad for dating. Even the apps barely get used here. My parents aren't that controlling, but since I live at home I have to explain whatever money I ask for, and they'd notice pretty quick if I was lying about it.
There's an option to move to a bigger city for my last two years before college. It's better in almost every way. Stronger study environment, way better dating scene, more going on overall.
The upside of moving is I'd have more freedom with money. I could tell my parents I need cash for transport or food and just save it for surgeries or use it to buy peptides, since I'm cutting right now anyway and don't mind skipping meals.
The downside is I'd be completely on my own. Dishes, laundry, making my bed, cooking, all the basic chores I've never had to myself so I'm not used to using them. I'd also really miss my family, especially my little brother. I'm close with him. On top of that, my PS5 is at home, which is how I usually pass time. I've got an iPad and a laptop with me, but the laptop can't run games, so I'd lose that outlet too.
Moving gets me a better environment and more opportunities, but I'd be isolated, doing everything myself, and missing my usual ways of unwinding. That loneliness might mess with my focus and nerf me. Staying is comfortable and stable, but ithen I'll miss out on what I mentioned. What would you guys do?
