Should I perm my hair?

Hey, Ive been looking at perm for a long time, specifically those Korean loose perms that kinda thickens and curls your hair just a bit without making you look like a broccoli head. I currently have Asian 1A hair, extremely thin, light and straight, looking like this unstyled.

however, I currently style hair with wax every morning, looking like this. Very big difference. Anyways lmk if you reckon a perm is worth it or if I should stick with the wax…
