Should i pursue electromechanical engineering or aerospace engineering?

What do you guys think? Please high iq answers honestly, im really into aerospace and stuff like that and im good at maths, mechanics and physics but I'm just worried about job opportunities but overall what should I do?

Ps. Im into designing but I can work in workshop too

i have a friend who’s pursuing it and they tell me how fun it is. I also have a natural bias towards it as i love and study astronomy whenever i can.

I mean, it could work out well...
But you can't know how it will turn out, especially with AI takeover possible in as little as 5 years.
You need to like what you're going to study and try to be good at it and build a skillset and experience.

i would personally say electromechanical engr but since you like aerospace more then that's where you should go into

Aerospace engineering is very cool, but also rather niche.

I think there's lots of electromechanical engineers still working in the aerospace industry, so I'd go with the former honestly unless you like AE that much more.

You've just got more options, it doesn't really kill your dreams of getting into the AE industry either. This is assuming job opportunities and economic value of the degree is your primary concern.

Personally for me it's whether I loved the subject enough to do it regardless of getting the degree. I study physics, it's very theoretical, job opportunities are meh compared to engineering but I knew I'd never regret figuring out more about the universe even if it didn't end up landing me a job.

If you're the same, then I suggest you follow your passion.
