Book explains the scenes with far more depth than the movie and every character’s traits are also described in full detail

Book is kinda boring, too many descriptions, you have there the entire chapter of his favorite music and it add pretty much nothing in relation to how much space is dedicated to it

Both are pretty unique experiences, I prefer the movie.

The book is for sure a tough read at times, not because of the violence, but because of the awfully long descriptions of scenes and clothes.

The book has way more detail than the movie, especially during the murder scenes. Overall they’re both two very different pieces of media and I enjoyed both but I prefer the book.
