Should I rent a car or take the train?

I am supposed to go to Daytona Beach, Florida in August, and it's about a 9 hour drive for me. The train ride is 15 hours but it is a little cheaper. Should I rent a car or use the train instead? I hate using the bathrooms on those things tho, but the idea of a train seems more fun, and I don't have to drive all that way.
