Ok, well explain to your parents the situation you discovered, nobody is forcing you to do this.

It’s completely fixable explain to your parents you will have airway issues when you get older if you continue this treatment.

It’s already a structural issue as he stated. He might need MSE or skeletal advancement for airway and skeletal support regardless of class, the goal is undo the retraction.
