The point of life is to experience as much happiness as you can.
If you feel a greater total volume of negative emotions (like sadness) than positive ones, your net happiness is negative, therefore life ain't worth living.
Since I'm genetically subhuman, I'll definitely accumulate more losses than gains in life. It's not even a debate. My net happiness at the end of my life will be negative without a doubt.
Logically, it's advantageous for me to commit suicide.
However my brain wants me to stay alive. We're biologically programmed to want to survive no matter how shitty our lives are.
But a true intellectual doesn't act on feelings; they act on reason. Suicide is totally logical, whereas remaining alive for a lifetime of suffering is just a primal urge. Should I transcend my innate biological instinct to survive and instead decide to make the logical choice—roping?
