This is me currently. I've been leamaxxing for almost 2 months and I only lost 5 lbs (although I probably gained 1 or 2 lbs of muscles after being detrained for 5 months).

Starting weight November 7th 2022 : 177,7 lbs
Current weight as of January 4th 2023 : 172,1 lbs

At this rate I'm not going to be lean before the end of this new year. I don't know if I can sustain cutting for so long.

What do you reckon I should do ? Cut aggressively but sacrificing muscle in the process or keep on cutting at a slow and steady pace with minimal muscle loss ?

I'm contemplating going aggressive and then hop on a test cycle to recover the lost muscle mass...

Yea tbh, you can gain it back quick anyway

nah its not worth trust me

you don't need to lose much

but yeah just focus on leaning for a month or so and seek to maintain muscle- still lift but don't worry if your lifts drop

you'd feel better at a leaner bodyfat

You don't have to. You should lift as hard as you did before the cut, but without trying to make new personal maximums.

Hit your protein intake, work out hard every 2 days, just reduce your caloric intake to the point where fat loss will occur.

I would never cut again without also incorporating full body workouts. You want to cut while retaining as much lean mass as possible.
The first time I cut years and years ago, I didn't lift during the cut.
I became extremely lean, but it didn't look that good because I depleted most of my muscle mass too.

It's just not a good look on a grown ass man. Lean without muscle works for teenagers.
