Should I save up for surgery if orthodontist can’t save me

I’m 13, I live in England and use nhs , if I tell my parents I hate my short jaw they sadly can’t do anything due to the fact we have a good amount of money like decently high however they would just say it’s fine I have a slightly recessed mandible and I’m scared that my orthodontist is just gonna use elastics and make my maxilla look abit more flat even if it’s not recessed , I’m planning on lying to the orthodontist by saying I have tmj pain and a lisp (I have a lisp but idk if it’s due to this ) I’ll also act depressed and talk about how I hate it to the doctor orthodontist by short mandible I mean smaller so i have a compressed face , do you guys think it’s worth it

ah I get that, I would just be more on her good side for some time before talking to her, that's usually how i do stuff like that.
