No. Truth is, most of the time, you don't tell everything to your therapist. You give a modified truth so as to form an image of yourself, and so any advice you are given is lost on you because it doesn't respond to your real self. Seeing a therapist certainly helped for me, but it didn’t improve my life much, just made me feel better and made me do stuff I otherwise wouldn’t have done, but therapy can’t fix everything of course, sometimes just exposing yourself is best, sometimes even surgery is the best therapy
