Is this worth it? At this point im tired of putting my thumbs in my mouth like a 5 year old child and pulling my palate. Im still making progress but it takes so long now since im at almost a 47 imw. Should I self install MSE? Is it worth it, especially with the large gap I will develop?

Doesn’t MSE create like this disgusting gap in between your teeth?

Jfl @ thinking the gap you get from Mse isn’t worth it, and yes op do it there’s really no risk. You can even do it with no numbing, there are drs in Egypt that do it

Would I have to get braces for the gap?

Wait actually I think if I put it further back on my palate I wont get a gap in the front just a theory

How much did you manage to expand with your thumbs??

idk tbh

its seems like there is benifits and risks

cons
- might widen nose
- gaps in teeth
- might cause assymetries

pros
- could widen lips
- adds more maxilla projection
- might very slightly widen pfl/ipd
makes smile wider

Wider nose would balance out with wider midface but yeah true

Exactly. It's worth for most people but if you're extremely assymetical already then it can be bad

Your teeth will move back after mse but you will always need aligners because they will never be perfectly aligned and no that won't work

I heard the pain is unbearable
Who gives a fuck about pain. Results are all that matter. I would accept giving birth to 10 children (the equivalent pain) to get a perfect HAIRLINE with perfect density. Looks or death

Wait so the gap will close itself? Also how do you prevent relapse in expansion?

Nvm just saw your recent vid

Honestly worried about not being able to mew with the device in. While I will get expansion, Ill lose everything else like eye support and forward growth etc...

Who is the orthodontist that installs MSE without numbing the palate first? Wouldn't that be exteremely painful?

is it true mse rottens the teeth like that alienmaxxer dude said?

Maybe. If you don't take care of your teeth properly, that risk exist with braces too
yeah but the guy claimed you can lose teeth or some shit thats crazy

I don't know who is claiming that but I know a user who said that they had gotten some tooth damage since mse is not just bone anchored, but tooth borne as well. But I don't think MSE could cause cavities or tooth decay unless you really have bad mouth hygene, cavities and tooth damage are not the same thing
