I wrote this message to my ex, someone I hurt a lot in the past. I’m thinking of sending it as my last message before starting no-contact, but I’m not sure if I should. I want it to be sincere and respectful, not to pressure or guilt her.

Here’s the message:

“This is my last message. I just wanted to sincerely apologize for everything I did and for not being the partner you deserved. I was an idiot. My coldness and mistakes, especially seeking comfort where I shouldn’t have, hurt you, and I take full responsibility.

I want to remember the good. I will never forget June 28, the excitement of seeing you that kept me almost awake, and every moment we shared. You were my mirror and showed me my flaws, but above all, you taught me something unforgettable: your light. What you said, that those with their own light cast no shadow and can illuminate others, is etched in my memory. What you taught me with your words I will always carry with me.

I hope you always keep shining. That you publish your poetry, laugh until your stomach hurts, and, if you want, achieve your dream of becoming the amazing mother I know you can be.

I say goodbye with all my stored affection and immense gratitude for having known you.

Thank you for everything.”

All you are doing by writing this is opening more possibilities with her. Not closing things off. Just block her

Are you sure? Do you think I still have chances with her, even if she’s now on a rebound relationship.

Depends how she perceives the message. Might get nostalgic and miss you and wanna get back. The shit you wrote seems really personal.

Sending apology messages just pushes them away farther bro just let it rest and find your own clarity that won’t make you be the center of laughter

newfag detected. you're reaching out to her because you want validation from your ex instead of actually changing yourself. stop being an attention seeking beta orbiter and delete that pathetic apology message before embarrassing yourself further. focus on self improvement if you want the women you deserve in the future, not a reaction from someone who already moved on from your sorry ass
