Should i shampoo after around 8 months of no shampoo

Before you ask, no my hair dosent get greasy or smelly. I started no shampoo after I hopped on accutane and wash my hair everyday. But recently I had 2-3 days where I didn’t have access to a proper shower and the hair product were impossible to wash out and I still got some build up.

But the problem is if I shampoo my hair gets very flat and gets no texture and is impossible to style the next 3 days

Never want buildup yea wash but idk some people say a raw egg yolk or two and rinse with water is ok but at the end of the day tap water ruins ur hair anyway

I’ll dunk my hair in some hot water for a couple mins and see it usually helps. But it’s worse when I make my side bulk. I’m actually thinking about buzzing for the summer cuz I think my hair is dead.

But I’m unsure cuz when the humidity is high my sisters hair also like frizzed out and mine too so could be cuz of genetics (just a random mention)
