idk but my goatee doesnt look very good but every time i shave it off i regret it

If it looks bad, shave it off. You could also try to trim it everywhere to make it balanced if lacking hair follicles is the problem. Just experiment around I guess

dont shave it off completely just trim it down bit by bit because like they always say you cant go back
