You need a high level of dimorphism to pull off a standalone moustache and anything less will make you look lowclass and unkempt. It makes spics look like taco vendors, Indians like call scammers, and whites like rednecks.
Either go full on moustache and beard or none at all. A full shapened beard looks like effort and maintenance, a scraggly moustache looks like negligence.
