I have 86 20mg pills, I’m considering starting to take them should I do 1 or 2 a day and would it be long enough to have an effect, also I am currently using tretinoin.
My neck usually looks better I had to shave it quickly so it was poor and got irritated. Also my skins burns very easily even without accutane or tret, as u can see my skins quite red.

Or does anyone have any suggestions to prevent skin bumps on neck, I shave every 2nd day otherwise my facial hair looks rlly bad.

I think my mum might ask me soon if I want to start taking accutane again so I could just wait for that and go to derma.

why did you stop?

if your skin was clear on accutane and now off you've broken out = relapse (ik yk this just breaking it down)
how to mitigate, prolonged low dose accutane so you're not breaking out on it and won't relapse. youre daily dose doesn't impact relapse nor cumulative dose (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26471145/)
so in essence doesn't matter if you don't have the traditional cumulative dose of 120mg/kg or 0.5mg/kg/day it won't affect your chances of relapse.

if you try 20mg 3x a week and it works to clear your skin in theory you could use it indefitnley.

but you'd run out so will need to go to the dermatologist for more anyway so may aswell just go back on it supervised :ROFLMAO:

for isotret + topical tret they work well together achieving similar results to those who just used isotretinoin (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1046/j.1439-0353.2004.03739.x) but as accutane is cheap it makes sense to just use it alone.

HOWEVER

you could just use what you have meaning use 20mg maybe 3x a week doesn't matter if your side effects are mild, and just use a topical retinoid and hope it maintains what you have by the end of it.

does this make sense lol?

yeh I’d assume you’re from the US bc accutane is expensive there, but accutane is a brand, like you said just buy cheap Isotretinoin overseas. I’ve gotten mine on holiday in Thailand $60 for 6 months 😳😳😳 but indiamart is even cheaper 😛
