Should I start lying about my work history to get hired cause being honest Isn’t getting me the job I think I should start lying to increase my chances of getting hired and hope they don’t fact check it

Maybe but it depends what field you are going into and what questions they are going to ask you in the interviews. If you cant answer their questions then rip.

They'll fact check by asking you about minor details about your previous jobs. They'll ask about problems you'vd solved and whatnot. As for fake references just have someone available who can simply answer the phone and confirm the fabricated relationship they had with you. Beyond that they should just say you always showed up on time, never called in sick, never gave them any problems, and always did what was expected.
