Should i start mma at 17 for general fitness and for fun. I would probably do grappling and boxing. Has anyone felt better after starting?

niggaNo, If you don’t have a base you will not be good at anything. You will learn all together. You will be out wrestled by a wrestler or out boxed by a boxer get a Base. Do wrestling

ive done mma, wrestling is such a big part in a street fight
also mma has kicking, which boxing doesnt have (i know theres kick boxning)
oh i know lol, i think id find grappling quite fun tbhyeah it's a decent way to get in shape and learn some self defense at least. but statistically you're competing with dudes who started training at 5 or so years younger than you for the pro level. genetics will also matter big time - if your bones aren't built right, even the best coaching only gets you so far. most guys overestimate how much they can improve past a certain point anyway. focus on enjoying it as an adult activity and don't expect to become the next jon jones lol.
