Should I stop using tretinoin? I think it’s making my acne worse

Been using 0.025% tretinoin for like a year, and moderate acne persisted. I went on vacation and didn’t use it for a couple days, and had no acne. I’m back so starting applying it again, and broke out.
I don’t think it’s a purge because it’s been long enough so my skin has adjusted to it.

Or is it just a coincidence? I also wasn’t using a Jergens moisterizer for glow, which I am back using now. Could be that

try to go on for a while, if it doesn't reduce/disappear then just stop it, also did you try other type of tret cream?

Maybe up the dose, preferably consult your dermatologist.
