So I am a Windows main and Id like to learn coding/programming. Im a total noob and I think the best way to learn coding is to switch to an OS that is pretty complicated and requires some skill to be able to operate it :lul:
Should I even bother switching?
Which Linux should I try?

Download Linux Mint, easy to do it. Dual boot it on your system, plenty of vids showing how its done. After installation is done you can google post installation steps

Alternative, download Windows Subsystem Linux. Very easy to do and you still have Windows as daily driver. Again plenty of vids for that too

I considered switching to see how using Linux feels. I don’t wanna play video games on my PC anymore and I heard Linux is faster and you can customize it how you want

If you want to start coding learn C

I can literally learn any programming language in a few weeks because all of them feel like watered down versions of C

Knowing C and assembly is a cheat code when it comes to learning programming

No and I say this as someone who works with Linux everyday. It is not user friendly at all. There's a reason why everyone uses windows
