Hey, I have a problem with my skin it’s very acne-prone and not clear. I’m on a very strict diet: I don’t eat sugar, salt, vegetable oils, processed foods, and I avoid most dairy products. I also take supplements daily: around 7–10 g creatine, about 800 mg calcium + vitamin D3, 500 mg magnesium, and 1600 mg potassium.
In the past, I used nicotine pouches (50 mg) to suppress my appetite because lean is law, but I stopped using them about a week ago. My acne hasn’t improved, and I don’t think nicotine is the only cause.
I do have a skincare routine. I wash my face every day with a CeraVe cleanser, morning and night. I also use a BHA serum to help clean my pores. I’ve reached a point where nothing seems to help anymore, and my skin doesn’t seem to regenerate or improve.
Because of this, I’m wondering if I should consider Accutane or peptides that help with skin regeneration. However, I’m 16 years old and I don’t want to mess up my hormone levels. That’s why I’m asking for advice here. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do?
