They'll obviously notice it otherwise. I have a good relation with them, but they are against cosmetic surgery.

Isn’t bimax like minimum 25k? You’re out of your mind to think they would pay for it. JFL

When did I say I expect them to pay for it? I obviously don't.

If you’re paying then don’t even tell them. Or tell em 2 nights before lol

Telling 2 nights before is the worse possible scenario. They will freak out which will add to my pre-op anxiety.

Tell them after and preferably after swelling subsides if you can keep your distance for like a week

We don't live in the same city so yes, that's definitely possible. But at some point, sooner or later, they'll see me. And even before that, they will know something is off if they call me and I can't even talk

They're gonna notice of course anyway but if can avoid them seeing you during swelling it won't be as dramatic or concerning from their perspective.

so you'd say that my best bet is:
1 - don't tell them anything before.
2 - make up some excuse for the time during the surgery and post-op (I'm traveling somewhere? idk but won't send pics lol, will be weird because they'll call).
3 - after several months of recovery, go see them.
4 - wait until they notice? and in the meanwhile act normal?

Nigga wym wait until they notice? Jfl

They'll notice as soon as they see you just tell them. What can they do about it?

yeah, they'll notice. but option A is let them say what the fuck did you do to your face, option B is tell them before they ask.

the alternative would be to tell them before the surgery: look, I'm going to have a pretty brutal surgery. I know you are going to hate me for it but the decision is final. if you want to support me fine, otherwise I'll keep forward anyway.

Tell them it'll be the end of their bloodline if you don't get it since your current face prevents any girl from letting you breed her

they are strongly bluepilled

also, ok, but what about the "when"?

Yeah this is my problem
Especially since I intend to fly to Cambodia for OBO if giant opens, then want to move back in for a bit to save money
Even going abroad for any surgery they will find out I'm going abroad and I would feel guilty saying it was for a holiday, although I suppose it could function as a holiday and surgery trip, so not lying, just not all the truth

Thats why you gotta be direct and visceral about it. Literally tell them you'll never fuck using those exact words
Asap

why before and not after?

no, just tell them you're going on vacation, and when they ask what's up when you get back, tell them you got a hair cut.

why before and not after?
Why would you do it after? They might even give you support. Just dont be a pussy when you tell them you gotta hit them right in the core with your words, viscerally. How old are you btw?

idk yet. but I'm 100% they won't support, they'll add stress/anxiety to the whole thing

Thats why you gotta drive in the importance by being crude in explaining why youre doing it. These retards will pretend everything's fine even if youre a 40 yo incel. Your call

Claim it’s for health reasons

That’s a good one in general, now that you say it, although in this case they are educated enough to know that would be a lie

So many low IQ retards in these replies lmao.
Obviously tell them, and be firm about your position.
It would be braindead not to tell them only for them to find out later.
"Tell them" doesnt mean have a discussion or debate with them. It means tell them your intentions. Thats all.

Bimax is a health related procedure first, it’s cosmetic effects are secondary.
Anyone that is a candidate for BIMAX will improve their health if they get the surgery regardless they wanted it for cosmetic reasons.

You can literally say you spoke to an orthodontist/surgeon and they said you’re at risk for developing sleep apnea and that you’d likely need this surgery eventually.

You can even ask your surgeon to write something up for you, even then jaw retrusion/recession is a cranofacial deformity that has negative impacts on health.

If you explain it properly your parents shouldn’t have any issues with this.

They’ll be upset only if you imply that you’re getting this purely for cosmetic reasons

Tell them with maturity, that you want to be healthier and look better. And always relax.
