Should i turn my pallet expander more times than the orthodontist said to?

They said to turn my expander 5 times a week, but sense this is most likely the only chance I have to actually expand while my sutures are open should I just go balls to the wall and crank it 7 days a week?

I dont know to much, i try asking them questions but they pretty much ignore me and dont tell me exactly what theyre planning
