Should I visit an orthodotropist in my city?

Bit of backstory:
-20 years old
- late bloomer cel
- had braces for 1.5 years in teens
-overbite cel
-surgeon said I’m a mild case and not bad enough to warrant surgery
-recessed chin

My plan is to to either go to an orthodotropics practioner and see what can be done if anything, or get a genioplasty just to address the asthetics of my jaw as Mike Mew actually recommends this instead of jaw surgery if the jaw is not completely fucked.
Thoughts?

Provide pics or more info. And just because one surgeon says no doesn’t mean jack. Also orthotropics at that age are pretty much cope when you can get MSE
