I’m 20, male, and I’m a candidate for MARPE/MSE because I have a pretty narrow palate. Planning to get it done at the end of summer.
I was also thinking about starting a beginner cycle around May (test + HGH), but now I’m second guessing it.
From what I’ve seen, the expander works best if your palate isn’t fully fused yet. I’m wondering if starting test before could make that worse since it can affect bone density and maturation.
Would starting a cycle before the expander make it harder for the suture to split or increase the chance it doesn’t work? Or am I overthinking it?
Should I just wait until after I get the expander done?
