Should I watch season 3 of The Walking Dead?

Season 1 was pretty good. I just finished Season 2, it was lame. Too much mellow drama, and generally an idiot plot. But I read the following seasons are pretty good, and that Season 2 was just crap because of a low budget production.

yea, I had bought the entire season 2 already. I fastforwarded though all the search for girl scenes. Had I been watching when the show was first broadcast week to week, I would have probably quit watching after about episode of 4 of S2.

Makes no sense that they drive crappy high mileage vehicles that break down, when there are literally 100,000s of abandoned vehicles in the Atlanta area.
