should i wear my retainers

i got my braces off a little while ago and im supposed to wear ratiners but i don’t know because my dentist said that i was expireicng growth but i still told him to take my bravaes off and i have been eating a carnivorous diet for 2 months and i think that wearing my retainers limits my maxillary growth

I was 13-14 when i got my braces off after that i only wear my retainers for like 1 year and rn i dont really wear them now im 17 slowly 18 i usally put them in every month or every second month just to make sure that my theets dont shift

Your palate wont expand after the age of 14
