It depends. Do you want to work a job that requires a degree, like medicine or law? Then go to college. But if you're not aiming for one of those careers, you don't need a degree at all.

These days, there are countless ways to make money and educate yourself. College is only useful if it's a strict requirement for your career path. Otherwise, you'd just be wasting time and money. You're often better off developing other skills on your own, through courses, certifications, or free resources, that can actually increase your value and income potential.

For the record, I'm in college right now, but only because my desired career requires it. Honestly, it feels like the worst investment I've made so far, and I wouldn't recommend it unless it's absolutely necessary. We're not in the '80s anymore when a degree guaranteed a good job.
