Should some countries/societies be taken their independency?

I think that some countries/nations are incapable of bearing the burden of sovereignty; to be honest, they would be much better off if they were not independent and ruled by a superior nation. Or they are actually ruled but their masters don't want them to prosper so the ruled nation is beyond cucked tbh
