It doesn’t give you extra water weight right?
it increase water in muscles slightly which makes you stronger and bigger. Stoping it will reduce your strengh and make you lose muscle

i used creatine for 8 months. the first month i started i saw my lifts going up quite a bit, i think it was more of a placebo effect, but also due to my muscles reaching full saturation level. after that nothing changed, just gained 2 extra kg of water weight and my face bloated, remember u also have muscles in ur face, they will also retain water inside them. I hopped of it like 3 months ago and honestly nothing changed, my lifts were EXACTLY the same and i've progressed meanwhile without creatine, lost those 2kg of water weight, my body looked the same, no notable differences, and my face unbloated quite a bit. at the end of the day, you don't need it, but i would recommend for you to try it for atleast 3 months, then hop off it for 2 months and decide if its worth it to continue taking it, because in all honesty, that shit is so overrated, does pratically nothing, most of the effects it has are placebo and u cant prove me otherwise. Its also overpriced, it was much cheaper some years ago.

stopping creatine will mean you lose 1-2kg in water weight but you won't lose any fat, meaning you should keep using it on a cut.
