Should you use a low % retinol on lips?

Got some tret on lips and they're peeling (oops)

But, would using a like 2% retinol on lips make them look healthier?

I got 0.3% retinol on my lips once and had red bumps for a week, everyone thought I had herpes

better to put volufiline + castor oil on them
