Shoulder pad

Do you u use shoulder pads in clubs? Im quite short (5’9) and wear lifts to reach 6 feet but I don’t know if i should use shoulder pads too. It would give me wider frame look but consequently shorter since wider people appear to be shorter thank lanky guys. I have 1,45 shoulder to hip ratio so with shoulder pads it will be ideal 1,6 golden ratio
