WSG larpers. I'm accompanying my pops to a get-together of dentists, orthodontists and maxillo-facial surgeons tomorrow. I'm planning on stream-sniping a pretty famous surgeon here in my region and would like your input on what I have managed to morph myself into. I plan on asking him for his thoughts if my sliding genioplasty goals are achievable ( they are ) and what he thinks on my case. Feel like I have a solid bonus here cause my dad is well-respected in his line of work so a decent amount of these people already know me / of me. Hopefully I don't ruin his image too much .

I really think I do. See while the projection might look ok to some, my best guess is I have a lack of skeletal support so the pointient part of my chin isn't the bottom but the middle / higher part of it. This is likely due to an overactive mentalis muscle overworking so it hypertrophied. Like when I smile and clearly see my chin bone IMO it lacks a few mm forsure. Also what doesn't help is I have the straighest nose known to man and its masculine ( long ) so my chin even being slightly recessed kills my side

You'll need to get under a CT scanner to let surgeons plan the surgery. When you have, they'll let you take the data home with you and you can view it on your PC and autistically scrutinize it there. The scan will show you any subhumanity you have in 4K 60fps HDR Dolby Atmos.

If your goal is to look more sexy and imposing, a genio wont get you there.

yeah he's a dentist but has a specialty in implantology - as for org we don't really talk about it, he's as blue pilled as a human can get. All he notices is me always yapping about the skull and my failos but he laughs it off
As for the CT - I already had a full CBCT set done for my skull and my mandible and maxilla were in line - class 1 relation

infraorbital implants are out of reach for me - rhino is plausible but aside from my nose being longer it's perfectly straight and looks good from the front so I don't see a good enough ROI

Also an update since I forgot : talked to the surgeon at the event, pretty nice guy all in all. Instantly gave me a look when I mentioned cosmetic orthognathic surgery. Chatted to him for a min about my experiences at uni but politely dismissed my questions. Kind of just laughed it off and said the classic " you're good enough ".
Do people genuinely think saying that is a compliment, to me it always rubbed off like a polite insult ?

I am 20 and never kissed a girl bro ... Wouldn't quite say I'm a full on incel but am as close as you can get to it. I was a super late bloomer so was bullied throughout elementary school and most of high school so kinda turned out introverted as shit. I cannot make casual conversation to save my life. Only people I can talk to are either online " friends " or dudes I have known all my life. A lot of surgeons have their own little quirks. The higher the demand for them the bigger the quirks get. Ramieri has his own special ideas as to how people should look so he is very dismissive of other people's goals but I'm sure even he has a price

I would like to know some stats before making anymore statements about their safety. I don't know where I can find that or an authority on it. I should also retrieve the origin of the rumor and try find its source too. I was just something I heard once talking to a guy in a Discord server.

Beyond that, they're dangerous in the time that they consume and dangerous because you might not get the results you wanted and have wasted time.

on the osteotomie thing its just basic knowledge. if you get an osteotomie you can get the plates removed after a year and you are now the new bones cause of bone remodelling

Never diagnosed haha but personally I wouldn't say so. Definitely neurodivergent but nothing that bad. If I know a person beforehand I can blab for hours on end about hella topics. It's just every now and then I'll lose interest in the convo and kinda just turn off for a few seconds.

As for my looks, as objectively as I can get I'd put myself into like a HMTN category, possibly appeal-maxxed higher ,based on where I live, cause I got almost perfect skin and just a very soft look aside from my prominent zygos ( the usual guy around me is 20kg overweight / has a buzzcut and looks like a wannabe gangster ). Got inward grown gonions so my mandible is on the normal / narrower side but well defined all-in-all.

Yeah it's definitely a negative. I'm lucky though that I am good with numbers in general and pattern recognition so I plan on eventually pivoting into high finance - think sales & trading or straight into an investment fund. Not a whole lot of client relations going on there, just you, screens, a whole lotta data and more chuds surrounding you. All this medical stuff I got into cause of my family and BP is more of a side interest.
I just hope I can achieve what I believe I can to the point where my neuro-divergency will not be enough to nerf me.

That literature review and analysis isn't great evidence. The author says that there are no databases to which complications and fatalities are listed.

But that is not true in America. The study Early Outcomes and Risk Factors in Orthognathic Surgery for Mandibular and Maxillary Hypo- and Hyperplasia: A 13-Year Analysis of a Multi-Institutional Database is much better. There is at least one surgical database, American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS-NSQIP) database.

What I learned is that BSSO is safe. The authors of the database study found no casualties in over 600 cases. What I learned is that Korean v-line surgery is at least twice as dangerous as it. And like that, I am less ignorant.
