I wondered this too, maybe development the one side sleeping all those years occumulated, i have nooo fucking idea tbh, very hard to prove and to measure and what not, genomes cant set that much asymetry unless parents are asymetrical, prolly no one can asnwer this question except get back in time I wondered about this quite some time
