Braces dont fix an overbite, they just pull the maxilla back to make it even with your recessed chin. It’ll do more harm than good but except for that youre a hltn

sorry to break it to u but u wont ever look like him, he takes hgh(not a roid) and is on test idk much more than that but ur 13 id wait with test till ur atleast 18, it interprets ur brain development

its not that your chin is extremely recessed, you have a bimaxillary protrusion which is common in blacks
it causes your lips to protrude forward destroying the lips ratio and making the chin look further back than it actually is
no fix for this except surgery

if your protrusion is caused by teeth yeah (teeth flaring out from the side)
but if it is caused by skeletal issues only surgery will fix it
here's a visual example on how braces permit one to get a deeper bite
