GTFIH @justinzayn When I asked my relatives in Pakistan what music they listened to, they all said Sidhu Moosewala.

That surprised me a lot. These relatives lived in completely different cities and never spoke to each other before either.

I want to connect with my relatives on a musical level. Recommend me some of his songs.

True, but I didn't think my cousins would listen to him. I thought they'd listen to Pakistani artists. I was wrong. Side-note: I actually have a Turkish friend who looks like Sidhu. Like 100%. Face, bone structure, everything. Just imagine Sidhu with whiter skin and you have him.

I agree: as long as there's no religious hatred from Sikh & Hindu Panjabis then I have no beef with 'em and consider them to be my brothers & sisters.

Yes, gypsies or rather, Roma people ("gypsy" has more or less become a racial slur these days) have roots in the Northwest India region. Not entirely sure which modern-day state. Could be Rajasthan or even Panjab. Who knows.

Mirin, a Canadian knows more about Panjabi musicians than a Panjabi does. But it kinda makes sense. Sidhu got a "rest in peace" shout-out from Drake who is a major Canadian musician, I guess it makes sense that a Canadian white guy would tell you about it as well. Just my take.
