Silk pillowcase care

I recently switched to a silk pillowcase.

Normally with with my previous pillowcases I would wash them twice a week in order to avoid them getting dirty/buildup in order to some what help with my skin.
Should I do the same with silk pillow cases? Or wash them less frequently?
Also, are there in tips on general care for silk pillow cases or am I just overcomplicating it.
