First off! What is BDSM? BDSM is a acronym for bondage, discipline, dominance, submission, sadism, and masochism. Now that you know what BDSM is let's start with the types of BDSM.
Types of BDSM
BDSM does not always have to involve sex. A person can also be both dominant and submissive; this is called being a Switch.
Bondage and Discipline
Bondage involves one person being physically or verbally controlled or restrained by another person. non sexual forms include shibari or kinbaku
Discipline involves one partner setting rules, expectations, or tasks for the other. This can happen during or before the BDSM.

Sadism and Masochism
Sadism is the pleasure of giving pain, while masochism is the pleasure of receiving pain. In BDSM pain must always be consensual. This can include giving/receiving a slap o algo.
Submission and domination.
This is when one person plays the bigger person and the other person plays the smaller person. Dominance is the alpha male practically (Most of the times) or can be the alpha Female in femdom
What you'll need.
1. blindfold
2. Soft restraints
3. Silk or satin ties
4. Massage oil or lotion
5. Safe-word card or reminder
6. First-aid supplies
7. Restraint removal scissor
8. Water and towels
9. A open mind
10. A partner
11. A good attitude!
How to safely have BDSM.
1. First both parties have to agree to performing the act and art of bdsm. (To avoid any legal trouble or wtv)
2. Once both partners have agreed have a Medical check up for STDS and whatnot
3. create a safe word. (Make sure it isn't something common. use something like a fruit like pineapple or avacado)
4. Set boundaries. What can you do and what can't you do during this kinky sex sesh?
5. Start slowly if you are a beginner. (Most of you are)
6. Do what you need to do.
7. Bond after (This can help you get closer and make situations less awkward.)
THX I'm going to go to bed now probably
