YES I KNOW ISOTRET MOGS ALL OTC SKINCARE PRODUCTS, if you have poor skin but it’s not bad enough for your derm to give you any scripts, this is for you
Just wanted to post a thread about what I’ve gathered from the years of trying to fix my skin and I compiled a quick explanation of what the most know skincare chemicals do.
also not mentioning peptides like (ghrp2,6,Cjc, or Ghk)
There are supplements thought like zinc, pantothenic acid, and vitamin c that do help, but anyway here’s the full list
Morning:
Zinc (30mg)
Pantothenic Acid (1000mg)
Vitamin C (2000mg)
Deep pore exfoliator
Moisturizer
Green tea serum (optional, good for redness)
SPF 50 sunscreen
Night:
Gentle cleanser
Derma stamp (absolutely optimal btw)
Hyaluronic Acid serum
Retinol serum
Azeilic Acid leave on mask
Hydrolized Collagen (7,000mg)
Benzoyl peroxide spot treatment
Pimple patch
dnr me

- Benzoyl Peroxide - kills acne causing bacteria (Best used as 10% spot treatment cream) overuse can cause mild redness or discoloration and only apply directly onto pimples
- Salicylic Acid - helps open and clean pores (best used as 2% spot treatment/cleanser) if using spot treatment only apply to pimples
- Hyaluronic Acid - nourishes skin and is the active ingredient in most moisturizers (best used as a moisturizer or serum)
- Niacinamide - calms redness and irritation (best used as moisturizer or serum)
- Vitamin C - brightens skin and helps with hyperpigmentation (best used as a serum) anything over 10% can irritate sensitive skin and cause redness
- Collagen - softens skin, boosts hydration, and reduces trans epidermal water loss (best used as a serum/topical peptide)
- Retinol - promotes skin cell turnover, stimulates collagen production, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, increases skin firmness, and fades hyperpigmentation (best used as serum/topical peptide) large amounts can irritate skin and cause redness especially if combined with other products
- Azelaic Acid - treats rosacea, kills acne causing bacteria, fades hyperpigmentation, and reduces inflammation (best used as serum 10% concentration)
- Vitamin B6/Pantothenic acid - controls sebum production and reduces inflammation (best used as oral supplement 500mg daily)
- Zinc - antibacterial properties, reduces redness and inflammation, raises testosterone and libido (best used as oral supplement 30mg daily) if used for over 2 months, it can lower your copper levels, so take a week or so break or add a copper supplement (1-2mg)
- Sunscreen - reduces UV ray impact on wrinkles and hyperpigmentation (best used as SPF 50 stick or cream) don’t use too much as it can start pilling up and peel the other products off your skin
