Since Sinn retired, found another lady who has written papers about doing MLF3 in the US, can she be our new Sinn?

Based on the paper she performed her MLF3s on adults, not just young patients. This is BIG if true. She is located in portland, so you won't have to go to Vienna for your lefort 3 needs. Paper also lists other doctors, but I was unable/too lazy to determine if the other doctors, who were residents at the time, were still in maxfac. Thi is HUGE for us looking to get Lefort 3 as non crouzon patients in the US.

only one way to find out. Someone who qualifies, i.e. someone with class III/midface hypoplasia, should consult with her. I will do it if no one else does, but itll be a while

if you look at the paper, the figures shown at least indicate that she was performing kufner cut on non-deformed adult patients.

But I imagine she woukd say no if you were class I or II with average forward growth just looking to be muhhh chad.

ngl i dont see why would need LF3 if you dont have midface hypoplasia anyway. If you have normal midfacial growth, ur not gonna be muh muh Chad off of LF3.

I should clarify this isn't the Sinn MLF3 where they only cut orbits. This is much closer to a full LF3.

Although maybe she will do the Sinn cut too, it can't hurt to ask

I just want my zygos and lower orbital rim advanced and I don’t want to get implants. If the cut advances the rest of my midface as well that’s just an added benefit

yea she did, but only half of it. Kufner cut is more similar to quadangular Lefort 2 than full lefort 3 tbh. But I agree with you, if he was into performing craniofacial surgery for aesthetics i dont see why she wouldnt perform the Sinn cut
