I already knew this. But they gravitate to townhouses, even more so than condos, probably 2-1, single women/single men in townhome ownership.

No, just BS hand waving about women being career focused and willing to make sacrifices . The article is not worth reading.

The two real reasons for this are:
1. Widows. Women just out live t heir husbands and take title to the house.
2. Divorce rape. Women will usually stay in the house with the kids after the divorce. And women after a divorce are more likely to be able to qualify for a mortgage than men because of the inequity in allimony and the way Fannie Freedie mortgage quidelines account for child care.
