Experts, tell me, is my palate large enough and does it need to be widened? P.S. I have a unilateral crossbite and they want to put an orthodontic plate on me. Is this a normal treatment? I was planning on doing thumbpulling. Do I need it and will it be dangerous in my case? And how should it be done in my situation?

Even experts can't tell from such photo properly. What you can do is take the biggest slice of the biggest apple, bite down on it with all teeth, and measure intermolar distance. If its less than 35mm, youve got a narrow palate
