The above would be a better guide
most of ts isnt really required for fitzpatrick 2 or above the guide is for 3 and 4 js cope w vitamin c or sumn they should work
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

Hydroquinone 4%(mostly pretty cheap)
Tretinoin/Tazarotene(both are retinoids but taz is stronger and works faster i am currently using tret although imo taz would be alot better both are pretty cheap not that much of a difference)

SUPPORTING INGREDIENTS:
Moisturizer(pretty cheap aswell but could also use a glycerine alternative which is basically dirt cheap)
Glycerine(OPTIONAL TO REPLACE MOISTURIZER IF YOURE REALLY BROKE)
SUNSCREEN SPF50+ and SPF30+(30 is optional if youre mostly at home and not near a window should still use a spf 30 sunscreen)
No one is going to read this shit but wtv
1,)hydroquinone would be targeting dark spots and pigmentation.
2.)taz/tret is going to increase skin turnover so the hydroquinone penetrates better.
3.)moisturizer or the glycerine alternative is used to counter the dryness, peeling and irritation caused due to tret/taz.
4.)sunscreen is going to be necessary because taz/tret(retinoids in general) make your skin sensitive to uv because of the cell turnover the top layer of dead skin cells is removed faster and the new layer is thinner and cant protect well against uv rays making the pigmentation and tan worse.
also hydroquinone doesnt work well when exposed to sunlight it breaks down and sunexposure when using hydroquinone can make the pigmentation worse rather than improving it.

tldr of the above text js use a sunscreen and a moisturizer if u plan on using these
1773224832395

APPLICATION AND LAYERING BS:
Night routine
1.) Clean your dirty face dalit. Make sure its dry(if its wet the irritation would probably be more due the the increase in absorption, also hydroquinone can become less stable due to water).
2.)Apply a thin layer of hydroquinone all over your face, like pea sized amount and spread it all over your face.
3.)Apply a thin layer of tret/taz same amount as hydroquinone.
4.)After like 10-20minutes apply the moisturizer so that the actives absorb first without being diluted.

Morning routine
1.)Clean your face again dirty dalit(wash it w water mostly u could use a light cleanser if u want).
2.)Apply the spf50+ sunscreen, reapply it every 2-3hours if youre outdoors and reapply 4-6hours if youre at indoors(u could use a spf 30 sunscreen indoors).
3.)Could use a moisturizer under your sunscreen if the skin is dry.
Moisturizer alternative for dirt broke niggers

1. Ingredients(dont use thick creams or smth w lots of fragrance)

  • Glycerine (humectant): 2–3 drops per fingertip area
  • Light oil (emollient + occlusive): squalane, jojoba, or coconut oil β€” 1–2 drops per fingertip area
  • Optional: A small dab of a gentle, non-comedogenic cream if your skin needs extra barrier support

2. Mixing

  1. Take glycerine and oil on your clean palm.
  2. Rub your hands together to mix into a thin, even layer.
  3. It should feel slightly slippery but not sticky.

3. Application order (night routine)

  1. Clean face β€” gentle, no harsh soap.
  2. Hydroquinone β€” thin layer, especially on pigmented areas.
  3. Tretinoin/Taz β€” pea-sized amount, avoid rubbing too hard.
  4. Glycerine + oil mix β€” apply after 10-20 minutes to let tretinoin absorb.
Optional: If your skin is sensitive, you can apply a very thin layer of the glycerine mix first, wait 5 min, then apply tretinoin (β€œsandwich method”).

QUICK GPT BS FOR THE RATIO:

Quick Ratio Guide (per face application)

IngredientAmount (per face)Purpose
Glycerine2 drops (tip of finger)Pulls water into skin (hydration)
Light oil (squalane / jojoba / coconut)1–2 dropsLocks water in, softens skin (emollient + occlusive)
Optional creamSmall dab (pea-sized)Extra barrier protection if skin is dry or flaky

Precautions for the hydroquinone and other bs(low effort):
1) Dont stop abruptly it can cause rebound pigmentation skin can overcompensate for the heavy dipigmentation
for example: if u plan on using hydroquinone for a month after the month ends slowly taper it off like 3 times a week for the first week of the next month and then for the second week make it to 2times a week then eventually stop it u get the point
1773226592418

2) Dont stop using the taz/tret use it daily even after u stop using hydroquinone they help reduce the risk of rebound pigmentation not going to type allat as no one gon read that.
3) Use sunscreen everyday(mostly this and the 1st of reduces the risks of rebound pigmentation).
4) Cycle hydroquinone while using the tret/taz even without hq.
for example: hydroquinone for a month taper it off the other months first two weeks or so then stop for a month and start again.
5) Theres a risk of exogenous ochronosis but i doubt yall are getting those if youre not stupid mostly dont use it hydroquinone constantly for years in high concentration and i wouldnt suggest using it w a steroid too.

Gpt says put tret first so do i put tret or hydro first?
Tret to increase absorption I fucked up a lil while writing the thread and couldn't edit it and there's also the glycerine part where you're supposed to dilute it or it makes the skin kinda dry rather than moisturizing it
I'd suggest getting used to tret peeling for a week or two if u use high concentration

Taz is better imo but it's stronger so I wouldn't suggest starting taz and hq together on your first time

View attachment 4752927
