skin care question regarding retinol

can I use 0,1% retinol night cream with 2% salicinamide facewash by derma co it jas 2% of salicylic acid and niacinamide.chatgot says it will be too harsh I have been using it for a week how can I know if it's okay or not .No skin peeling or redness yet .
Pls take into account the climate of Indians summer heat.
