I’m almost 17, and I’ve hardly ever had severe acne or major breakouts. The only time I recall having a problem was around age 13 or 14, when I had a bad breakout on my forehead; I used some random crap to wash and treat it, and it seemed to clear up. My skin is still more or less okay now, but I do have some slight redness on my cheeks and sensitive skin—meaning it tends to flush a bit when I wash my face. I don't remember it being like that before; this issue started about 9 or 10 months ago. I’ve been using 10% azelaic acid and a moisturizer for a month and a half now. My skin doesn't seem quite as sensitive anymore, but I’d still really like to achieve a completely even skin tone. Also, I have some minor breakouts on my forehead and under my nose that I want to get rid of. What do you think about the idea of switching to 20% azelaic acid to finally get rid of the redness and minor breakouts on my forehead and under my nose? Or perhaps you could suggest other options? I’d really appreciate your advice and would love to discuss this—it’s very important to me.

nah don't jump straight to 20% aza since your skin still gets easily flushed and sensitive, just bump the 10% to twice a day instead. add a 2% salicylic acid a couple times a week for those small forehead and nose bumps, and keep using your moisturizer so your skin barrier doesn't get fried.
If it helped I'd appreciate if u could mark as a solution( ☑ not the thumb ) ❤️
