this is my skin right now its mostly smooth red spots however i usually have 1-2 active pimples. would a microdose of accutane be good in my case? ive been on tretinoin for a year it did nothing( doctor didnt let me go on accutane until now).

OP, you should get a random lipids test, take 10mg/day for a month, get another test, take 20mg/day as your top dose for however much longer.
No need to continuously taper up when your acne is minor.

That's how mine looked and I went up to 80mg a day under the supervision of dermatologist. I have no scars or hyperpigmentation. Why stay at such a low dose and trudge through the process when you could increase your dose every month?

His acne is minor you tart.
80mg is just unnecessary.
Your Derm either is retarded or you had severe acne.
