SKIN LIGHTENING AFTER TAN

I need help skin lightening after a tan. My face and neck have become a bit orange tanned due to sports season outdoors for months in the heat whereas the rest of my body is very pale. I'm Bulgarian / Argentinian and it looks weird. Any tips? I don't want to use Hydroquinone as it allegedly can cause skin cancer.
Please help is appreciated.

lighter than this, people think im turkish or something when looking at me I cant explain it. Like its still light but tanned compared to my non tanned skin tone.
