Hi everyone,

I am using hydroquinone, Kojic Acid soap, azelaic acid and sunscreen to currently lighten my skin tone.

I also use a regular skincare routine (cleanser, toner, exfoliate, moisturise).

My concern is that with so many actives being used to lighten skin, isn't this going to destroy my skin barrier. I can actually already feel the burning sensation when applying the topicals and moisturiser.

Generally, I think we should keep a minimal skincare routine with not too many actives, but for skin lightening purposes you need to use all these actives.

So my question is, how do I prevent destroying my barrier while lightening skin? Or do I just accept the destruction of my barrier while lightening my skin, then stop using those actives and solely focus on repairing the barrier.

I would recommend injecting glutathione 1500mg weekly or upping the dose to your liking via IM injections would work alot better than this stack.
